Imserso holidays: 7,447 trips go on sale at €50
A total of 7,447 Imserso trips at a flat €50 go on sale on Monday, 14 September, for pensioners on lower incomes. The 2026-2027 programme has 879,213 places across mainland-coast and island-coast holidays, as well as short breaks. The first departures start on 1 October, with Oropesa the first destination.
Booking opens province by province
From 14 to 18 September, eligible travellers can book only from the allocation for their own province. From 19 September, they can also take places still available from any other province. Sales remain open throughout the season.
Bookings can be made through the Turismo Social or Mundicolor websites, depending on the destination, using a national identity card (DNI) and an accreditation key. Authorised travel agencies need only the DNI.
Island coast gets more than a quarter of places
Mainland-coast destinations account for 50.1% of the places, while island-coast holidays receive 25.9%. The remaining 23.9% are for short breaks, including cultural circuits, nature tourism, provincial capitals and trips to Ceuta, Melilla and European destinations.
The programme has 4,602,255 accredited people. Pets will again be allowed on mainland-coast and island-coast trips, an option used by 1,066 people in the 2025-2026 season.
The €50 fare was introduced last season. It was used by 5,221 people in its first year, compared with 523 places taken up under the previous 50% discount on the trip price.
