Mallorca industrial estates in €16 million upgrade plan

Mallorca’s industrial estates are in line for improvements under a €16 million plan covering the Balearic Islands over four years. The Balearic Islands Industry Council backed the plan at a special meeting on Thursday, 22 October. That clears the way for Alejandro Sáenz de San Pedro, the minister for Business, the Self-Employed and Energy, to approve it, according to his department.
The plan sets aside €2 million for 2027. The council also discussed a decree that will set out how the law on managing and modernising industrial areas is applied, as well as preparations for industry aid programmes in 2027 and 2028.
