Balearic Islands industry sales: July stalls at 0%

Industrial sales across the Balearic Islands went nowhere in July, matching the same month in 2025 with 0% growth. Spain as a whole grew by 4.1% over the year. The islands’ industrial turnover has fallen 12.7% since January, 17 points below the national average growth of 4.3%.

Murcia recorded the strongest July rise, up 15.8%, followed by Castilla-La Mancha at 9% and the Comunitat Valenciana at 7.7%. Aragón was down 3.3%, while Madrid fell 0.3%.

Across Spain, industrial turnover rose 4.2% year on year in July after seasonal and calendar effects were stripped out. On the same adjusted basis, it dropped 1.5% from June.
