Mallorca’s Vox list supplies a new member of the Balearic Parliament: Javier Ripoll is named to replace María José Verdú, a fellow party member who died last week. The Balearic Islands Electoral Board notified Parliament of Ripoll’s appointment on 29 October. He is expected to swear an oath or make a pledge at the start of the next plenary sitting.
Ripoll was ninth on Vox’s Mallorca list for the Balearic Parliament in 2023. He currently sits on IB3’s management board.
