Javier Vich wins CEO leadership award in Madrid

Javier Vich wins a CEO leadership award in Madrid: the Summum Hotel Group chief executive receives the prize at the Mandarin Oriental Ritz on Saturday. The Best CEO Awards 2026 – Global Edition names him best chief executive of the year in its Best Leadership category. The hotel group says he receives a certificate and a commemorative trophy.

The organisers credit Vich with helping the business grow. They also point to his leadership’s effect on the company’s performance and market position. Summum Hotel Group says it is growing and diversifying while strengthening its model as a multi-brand hotel operator.

New York-based Best Awards International has run the awards since 2024. An independent committee assesses candidates against 12 criteria, including business performance, innovation and international expansion. No more than 30 candidates reach the final in each category.

Vich says the award also reflects the work of the whole Summum Hotel Group team. He says the group intends to keep building its business.
