Mallorca and the rest of the Balearic Islands have 3,926 vacancies listed on InfoJobs in October, down 23.8% from September. The job platform released the figures on Thursday, 5 November. Listings are also down 9.6% from October 2025, when InfoJobs counted 4,345 vacancies across the islands.

Most listings offer full-time work

Full-time work accounts for 62% of the vacancies, while 18.7% offer part-time hours. Permanent contracts feature in 52.3% of listings, compared with 17.7% for fixed-term jobs.

Delivery and warehouse roles lead demand

InfoJobs names delivery drivers, warehouse workers, heavy goods vehicle drivers and forklift operators as the most sought-after workers. Its purchasing, logistics and warehousing category has 604 vacancies and 1,132 candidates.

Not every field is shrinking. IT and telecoms has 74 vacancies, 31 more than in September. Companies are mainly looking for people to manage, maintain and support IT systems. InfoJobs says the development and use of artificial intelligence in business systems is driving demand for IT professionals.
