Mallorca jobs fair draws around 100 young people

Mallorca’s jobs fair draws around 100 young people on Friday, 2 October 2026, to explore career opportunities. The Consell de Mallorca and the SOIB employment service organised Job Talent Mallorca 2026 to help employers find staff and improve prospects for people seeking work. That includes people hired by the council through SOIB employment programmes.

The council says it presented projects from its local employment action plan at the fair. Developed by local employment and development officers, the projects aim to create jobs, support people starting businesses and encourage local development.

Island president Llorenç Galmés said he wants the fair to give young people a voice and open up career options. His hope is that they can build a future on Mallorca without having to leave.
