Ketamine seizure in Santa Eulària, Ibiza
A 39-year-old man has been arrested in Santa Eulària, Ibiza, after Guardia Civil officers allegedly found about 100 grams of ketamine and several bags of tusi in his car. The arrest took place on Sunday night during a preventive public-safety patrol, the Balearic Islands Command of the Guardia Civil said.
Officers searched parked vehicle
Patrol officers noticed a parked vehicle whose occupant was repeatedly watching the surrounding area and appeared unusually alert. They identified the man and searched the car.
Inside, officers found two bags containing about 100 grams of ketamine, along with several bags of tusi, a substance also known as pink cocaine.
Cash seized during arrest
The suspect was also carrying €920 in very low-denomination banknotes. Investigators believe the cash may have come from drug sales.
He was arrested on suspicion of an offence against public health and handed over to the competent judicial authority.
