Palma kidnapping case sees two more arrests

An injured man was found bound on the s’Aranjassa road in Palma after saying he had been kidnapped. The National Police have arrested two more men over the alleged attack, bringing the total held to three. All three are due before a court in the coming hours.

The police’s robbery unit said its investigation identified and tracked down the three men. Investigators believe they tied up, beat and threw the man onto the road.

The man contacted his daughter after he was left in the street, telling her several people had abandoned him there. She then called the National Police.

Police said they would release further information after the men appear before the court.
