Palma last-minute breaks among Spanish travellers’ top choices
Palma, Mallorca, is among the leading destinations for last-minute summer breaks booked by Spanish travellers, according to eDreams data released on 18 August 2026. Málaga and Ibiza also feature among the most selected destinations, ahead of Barcelona, Paris and Tenerife.
The ranking places London seventh, followed by Gran Canaria, Rome and Alicante. eDreams said six of the nine most-booked destinations are in Spain, spanning coastal locations, islands and major cities.
Demand favours nearby destinations
Spain accounts for 39% of reservations made by Spanish travellers this summer, eDreams said. Short-haul destinations represent 59% of all bookings.
Alicante has recorded the strongest growth in late bookings, followed by Málaga and Seville. The figures point to continued demand for nearby, well-connected destinations offering both beach and city breaks.
