Palma City Council has not offered equality workshops in education centres for a second consecutive year, MÉS per Palma said on Thursday. The opposition party says sessions on sexual and gender diversity have again disappeared from Palma Educa, the city’s education programme.
MÉS per Palma councillor Miquel Àngel Contreras blamed the PP’s decision. He said the loss of spaces that make LGTBI+ issues visible was becoming a regular pattern under the party.
The group said it stands for a “diverse, free and proud” city and shares the values of organisations including Ben Amics.
