Mallorca line dance day brings older people to Alcúdia

Mallorca’s older people meet for line dancing in Alcúdia, Mallorca, on Saturday: the third line dance day runs from 10.00 to 16.00 at the Palacio de Deportes sports hall. The Mallorca Island Council has invited older people’s federations and associations across the island to take part.
Expert instructors will lead classes in the morning, adapting the choreography to those taking part. Lunch is at 13.30, and the programme also includes a musical performance.
The council wants the day to encourage exercise and bring people from different municipalities together. Those who already dance with their associations can join others interested in giving it a go.
