Ibiza Línea Verde logs 10,324 issues, cleaning leads

Ibiza Town Hall’s Línea Verde public reporting channel has logged 10,324 issues in 2026, according to the latest count released on 22 September. The council says it has managed 8,235 of them — almost 80 per cent. Street cleaning and litter bins account for the biggest share, with 2,304 reports.

The Línea Verde is the town hall’s digital channel for reporting problems. The council counts an issue as managed when it has been dealt with in some way: resolved, processed, answered, checked, passed on or handled through another administrative step.

Cleaning, roads and abandoned vehicles

After cleaning and litter bins, the most frequently reported problems concern pavements and roads, with 1,133 cases. There have also been 976 reports of abandoned vehicles, 908 involving containers and 830 concerning gardens.

Other reports cover road signs, with 517 cases; excrement in public spaces, 335; street lighting, 288; and covers and manholes, 282. A further 281 reports concern noise pollution.

Of the cleaning and litter-bin reports, 2,072 have been managed. The council has also dealt with 879 of the 908 container reports and 499 of the 517 reports about road signs.

Reports rise as handling rate improves

Use of Línea Verde has climbed sharply. The town hall recorded 6,006 reports in 2022, followed by 7,854 in 2023 and 9,734 in 2024. The total reached 14,612 in 2025 — a 143 per cent rise from 2022.

The share of reports managed has risen too, from 55 per cent in 2022 to 58 per cent in 2023, 67 per cent in 2024 and 88 per cent in 2025. That year, the council managed 12,799 of the 14,612 reports received.
