Mallorca 2027 vote: Llucmajor opens ideas survey

Llucmajor, Mallorca, is opening an anonymous online survey for people to shape Llibertat Llucmajor’s programme for the 2027 municipal election. The questionnaire lets participants rate Town Hall services and departments, identify the biggest needs in their area and put forward improvements. The election is due on 23 May 2027.

The party says it will examine the responses by area, separating priorities in Llucmajor, s’Arenal, the Urbanisations and Foravila. It intends to turn the contributions into specific proposals for its election programme.

Llibertat Llucmajor spokesman Alexandro Gaffar said the municipality is Mallorca’s largest by area and has the most population centres. He said proposals must be built from the ground up and take account of every settlement.

The party used the same participation model for its 2019 and 2023 election programmes. It says more than 100 residents took part then, raising problems, ideas and possible solutions.

The process is due to continue with in-person sessions in November in Llucmajor, s’Arenal and the Urbanisations. Llibertat Llucmajor is also running its primary process and plans to approve and present its candidates in December.
