Mallorca draws 500 luxury travel experts to Calvià
In Calvià, Mallorca, LOOP Autumn 2026 is bringing together around 500 luxury travel professionals, with its three main meetings taking place in Santa Ponça. The event is under way on Friday, 23 October, and runs until 1 November, according to Calvià Town Council. Its programme covers wellbeing holidays, leisure travel and business events.
Three meetings, one destination
LOOP Wellbeing brings together about 100 people working in luxury wellbeing travel. LOOP Leisure, scheduled for 25 to 29 October, is expected to draw around 280 people, including buyers from luxury travel agencies and specialist tour operators.
The final meeting, LOOP MICE, runs from 29 October to 1 November and is expected to bring together 120 people. MICE means meetings, incentive trips, conferences and events. Not everything happens in Santa Ponça: Friday’s programme includes wellbeing activities and dinner at the Son Vic Vell estate in Calvià.
Magaluf makes its pitch
Calvià Town Council wants to use LOOP MICE to put Magaluf’s hotels and event spaces in direct contact with organisers. More than 60 buyers and about 60 international luxury exhibitors are expected at that meeting.
The council plans to show participants new spaces and services in Magaluf, alongside changes to the area. It also wants to use the event to highlight the renewed seafront promenade and the beaches of Calvià.
