Mallorca Monday weather: fog and Tramontana winds
Responsible for this content: Frank Menze
Fog banks and low cloud may greet Mallorca on Monday morning, while moderate Tramontana winds blow across the north of the Balearic Islands. Skies should generally clear as the day goes on. Spain’s State Meteorological Agency, Aemet, forecasts a settled day under high pressure.
The fog is most likely in the morning, alongside stretches of low cloud over the Balearics. Elsewhere, clearer skies are expected to take over.
In the north of the islands, the Tramontana — a wind from the north and north-east — will at times reach moderate strength. Daytime temperatures are also expected to rise across the archipelago.
