Mallorca game: extra buses serve Palma stadium
Extra buses will serve the Estadi Mallorca Son Moix in Palma on Sunday 27 September for RCD Mallorca’s match against UD Almería. Kick-off is at 16.15. Palma City Council says EMT will strengthen lines 8 and 33 to help people reach the ground and travel back towards the city centre afterwards.
Before the match, line 8 will run extra services between Sindicat and the stadium. Its usual buses already run on that route every 15 minutes on average during that period.
After the final whistle, buses on lines 8 and 33 will wait at the stadium entrance on Camí dels Reis. Line 8 will follow its normal route to the Sindicat interchange.
The added line 33 service will run through the General Riera corridor, serving Camp Redó and s’Escorxador on its way to Son Fuster. It will also call at the Plaça d’Espanya interchange, where passengers can change to other lines.
BiciPalma users can also cycle to the match. SMAP says its new virtual station near the stadium is available to service users heading to the ground by bike.
