Mallorca goalkeeper Iván ‘Pichu’ Cuéllar is in hospital with a significant head wound after a large decorative structure falls in the dining hall at RCD Mallorca’s training ground in Son Bibiloni, Mallorca, on Monday morning. The club says the 42-year-old was taken straight to hospital and will remain under observation for the next 24 hours.
Cuéllar could miss Sunday’s match against Girona at Montilivi. With Lucas Bergström called up by Finland, that would leave Arnau Tenas as coach Luis García’s only available first-team goalkeeper.
