Mallorca go second after 2-0 win over Sabadell

RCD Mallorca go second in LaLiga Hypermotion after beating CE Sabadell 2-0 at Estadi Mallorca Son Moix on Sunday. Adrián Fuentes scores both goals before the half-hour mark in the fifth-round match. Mallorca now have 10 points, two behind leaders Castellón.

Fuentes ends Sabadell's unbeaten start

Sabadell, newly promoted to the division, had arrived in Mallorca without a defeat. Fuentes' quick double hands them their first loss and gives Mallorca a third home win of the season.

The result takes Mallorca above CD Leganés in the table.

Tenerife level on points

CD Tenerife are third, also on 10 points, after a 2-0 home win over Leganés. Enric Gallego scores twice at the Estadio Heliodoro Rodríguez López, opening the scoring from the penalty spot.

Leganés would have gone second with a win, but instead Tenerife move above them.
