Mallorca weather: showers as Ibiza faces rain alert

Mallorca, in the Balearic Islands, faces cloudy skies and showers around midday on Friday, 30 October. The rain could be heavy in places across the islands and may come with thunder. Ibiza and Formentera are under a rain alert, according to Spain’s state weather agency, the Agencia Estatal de Meteorología (Aemet).
Most of Spain remains settled under high pressure, with little cloud or only high cloud. The Balearic Islands are the exception. Minimum temperatures are expected to rise across the islands, while northerly winds could pick up on the easternmost islands.
