Mallorca, in Spain’s Balearic Islands, keeps largely clear skies on Tuesday while a weather front brings light rain to northern Spain. Spain’s State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) expects settled conditions across the Balearics, with some mid- and high-level cloud and a light southerly wind.

The rain starts in Galicia before spreading east along the Cantabrian coast and into the Pyrenees. Daytime highs fall across much of mainland Spain and the Canary Islands, with notable drops in parts of Galicia and Asturias and some areas of the south-west. Temperatures change little across Mediterranean regions, where the weather stays more settled.
