Northern Mallorca, in the Balearic Islands, could see scattered showers on Saturday: Sunday brings highs of 26°C across the islands. Light, occasional rain is also possible there and on Menorca on Friday night. Jorge Rodríguez, deputy spokesperson for the Spanish State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) in the Balearics, gave the forecast on Friday, 23 October.

Cloud and sunny spells alternate across the islands on Friday, with highs of 23 to 25°C. Saturday stays partly cloudy, with scattered showers still possible in northern Mallorca and on Menorca. Highs dip to 19 to 23°C.

Sunday looks more settled, with clear or partly cloudy skies and highs of 23 to 26°C. That is above the usual daytime range of 22 to 23°C for this time of year, though Rodríguez says it will not be hot. The agency expects sunshine, light winds and gradually rising temperatures across the Balearic Islands next week.
