Mallorca weather warms: sunny Tuesday brings rise

Mallorca in the Balearic Islands turns slightly warmer on Tuesday, 22 September, under mainly clear or lightly clouded skies. Spain’s state weather service, the Agencia Estatal de Meteorología (AEMET), expects daytime temperatures to rise a little across the islands. Night-time temperatures are set to change very little.

High pressure keeps conditions broadly settled. A moderate northerly wind will blow in the north of the Balearic Islands, while lighter winds from the north and east are expected elsewhere.

Heat warnings are in force in Cáceres, A Coruña, Pontevedra, Ourense and Fuerteventura. Temperatures may reach or pass 35ºC in parts of Galicia and Fuerteventura, as well as in southern Gran Canaria’s mid-altitude areas.
