Her colleague María is well. María’s father has appealed for help finding García, saying she is the only person in their group still unaccounted for. He said her family was desperate.

García’s family has reported her missing to the Guardia Civil, which has taken samples for a DNA comparison. Relatives travelled to the Spanish mainland and spent Thursday night searching hospitals in Madrid without finding her. People in her family and work circles are also sharing appeals on social media. García lives and works in Madrid.
