Menorca’s Marc Pons takes PSOE energy plans nationwide
Menorca’s candidate for Spain’s Congress, Marc Pons, is taking the PSOE’s energy plans to national debates: his first stop is Tuesday’s XIII Solar Forum. The forum, organised by the Spanish Photovoltaic Union, brings together renewable-energy businesses, sustainability experts and representatives of national and international institutions. The PSIB says Pons will use the appearances, held in the context of Spain’s general election, to set out his party’s proposals and the Spanish government’s approach.
The schedule moves to transport on 5 November, when Pons joins a Transport & Environment discussion about changing how people travel. On 12 November, he will meet the Association of Electric Energy Companies to discuss economic and industrial priorities with public officials. A Spanish Energy Club debate on 30 November will examine the main parties’ energy plans. Pons is also due to present the PSOE’s proposals at an event held by Ethic magazine, though the PSIB gives no date for it.
