Menorca school transport and meals on Vera's agenda
School transport, meals and new rules are on the table on the island of Menorca: Education and Universities Minister Antoni Vera meets school leaders on Wednesday, 14 October. They discuss how schools are running and raise issues affecting education on the island.
The leaders represent nursery, primary and secondary schools, as well as centres offering specialised courses. Menorca’s territorial director of education, Alexandra Marques, and Neus Riera, director general for early childhood, support for diversity and educational improvement, also attend.
The Education and Universities Department says it briefed the leaders on school transport, meals and regulations affecting schools, and heard their observations. Vera has already met school leaders from Ibiza and Formentera as part of his start-of-year meetings. Mallorca is next, though no date has been given.
