Mallorca's MÉS hits Prohens over empty promises
In Palma, Mallorca, MÉS per Mallorca accuses Balearic president Marga Prohens of making empty promises in her speech to parliament on Tuesday, 20 October. The party says she has offered no plan for the islands.
Speaking after the address, MÉS parliamentary spokesman Lluís Apesteguia challenged Prohens’s claim that rules governing a natural area had been approved. He said no such rules had been passed.
Apesteguia called her first term a failure, arguing that she had offered no concrete measures to tackle problems facing people across the Balearic Islands. On housing, he said the main new move amounted to reversing her own position. MÉS says it will put forward its own proposals on Wednesday.
