A fire breaks out in a building’s meter room in Sant Ferran, Formentera, on 8 October: smoke and gas collect on the upper floors and in adjoining premises. Four Formentera firefighters respond after an alert at 12.27, according to the Formentera Island Council. They put out the fire at about 13.00.
The crew arrives with a rapid-response vehicle and a fire engine. Once the flames are out, firefighters begin ventilating the upper floors and adjoining premises to clear the smoke and gas.
