Mallorca rescue lifts Balearics migrant arrivals to 98

A rescue 12 miles off Cap de Ses Salines on Mallorca lifts the number of migrants reaching the Balearic Islands over the weekend to 98.
Salvamento Marítimo and Guardia Civil crews rescued 26 people from sub-Saharan Africa at 08.50 on Sunday. They were aboard a small boat off Mallorca.
It was the sixth boat to reach the islands between Saturday and Sunday. The other five arrived on Saturday at points on Mallorca and Formentera carrying 72 people in all, the Government Delegation said.
