78 migrants reach Balearics as three boats arrive

Three more boats have brought 41 migrants to Eivissa on Ibiza and Formentera, taking Wednesday’s total arrivals in the Balearic Islands to 78.
The Government Delegation said 20 people of Maghrebi origin were intercepted at Botafoc breakwater in Eivissa port at 05.35. Six more were rescued near the coast at Playa den Bossa, Ibiza, at 06.40, while 15 were intercepted in Es Caló, Formentera, at 08.00.
Earlier on Wednesday, three boats had been reported at Colònia de Sant Jordi, Cabrera and Formentera. They carried 18, seven and 12 people respectively.
