183 migrants arrive by boat in Ibiza and Formentera

Ten boats carrying 183 migrants reached Ibiza’s Ses Salines area in Sant Josep de Sa Talaia and Formentera on Wednesday. The Government Delegation in the Balearic Islands reported the arrivals.
Across Spain, more than 600 migrants arrived by boat within 24 hours, according to Europa Press. The largest number was recorded in the Canary Islands, where rescue teams brought five boats carrying about 429 people ashore.
A further boat reached Almería with 10 people aboard, including three children. Three migrants had minor injuries.
