Mallorca and Cabrera: 35 migrants found in two boats

Thirty-five migrants are intercepted in two boats off Mallorca and Cabrera on Friday, 25 September, taking the number found in Balearic waters that day to 74. Twenty-four people of Maghrebi origin had landed south of the island of Cabrera at about 08.00, the Government Delegation said.

At about 10.20, patrol boats rescued another 11 people of Maghrebi origin from a boat 50 miles south of Mallorca. Maritime Rescue and the Civil Guard took part in the operation.
