Mallorca campus hosts Balearic migrant rights talks
On Mallorca, professionals, social organisations and researchers meet on Friday to discuss how migrants are welcomed and integrated across the Balearic Islands. The session runs from 09.00 to 14.00 on the University of the Balearic Islands campus.
The university’s Mediterranean Migration Observatory, Omimed, has organised the meeting to help build a Balearic-wide network focused on social inclusion and migrant rights. Participants will share approaches that have worked and identify where more training and research are needed. The session will include presentations, debates and group work.
It is the second of three meetings in the series. The first took place on Menorca on 15 May; the final meeting is planned for Ibiza on 23 October.
