58 migrants reach Formentera in three boats on Thursday

Fifty-eight migrants arrived at different points on Formentera on Thursday in three boats. The Guardia Civil rescued two boats at sea and assisted a third group after it reached Arenals beach.
At 06.15, officers rescued a boat carrying 17 people from the Maghreb near es Caló de Sant Agustí, according to the Government Delegation in the Balearic Islands.
At about 08.00, officers assisted 14 more people from the Maghreb who had come ashore at Arenals beach. Around an hour later, they rescued another boat carrying 27 people from sub-Saharan Africa as it approached s'Estufador.
