Formentera: Guardia Civil finds 11 migrants, total 40

Guardia Civil officers found 11 migrants on es Copinar beach on Formentera at about 19.30 on Tuesday, 22 September. The group is from the Maghreb, according to information released by the Spanish Government Delegation in the Balearic Islands.
This latest arrival brings the number of migrants intercepted on Formentera to 40. The government delegation gave no further details about the arrival, or about what the authorities would do next.
