Mallorca's Elisabeth Reynés has taken second place at Miss World 2026. The 22-year-old Spanish representative finished as first runner-up at the gala in Nha Trang, Vietnam, on 6 September. Joheirry Mola of the Dominican Republic won the crown.
Marga Prohens, president of the Balearic Government, said Reynés was the first Spanish contestant to finish second in the pageant's 75-year history. In a social media message, Prohens said the Mallorcan had lifted the name of Spain and the Balearic Islands.
Prohens added that Reynés still has “a great and long path ahead”.
