Mallorca group seeks housing for mothers and pregnant women

Mallorca mothers with young children and pregnant women face housing problems: RedMadre Mallorca asks regional president Marga Prohens for accommodation tailored to them at a meeting in Palma, Mallorca, on Friday. The association also wants easier access to public resources.
After the meeting at the Consolat de Mar, association president Maribel Riera told Europa Press that Prohens had been “quite receptive” to the proposals. RedMadre Mallorca says mothers and pregnant women often lack support from fathers and institutions. It also says motherhood causes problems for them at work.
