Formentera motorcycle hits girl, 16, leaving her badly hurt

A motorcycle hits a 16-year-old girl in the Bungalows Es Pins development, in the Playa de Migjorn area of Formentera, on Tuesday evening, leaving her seriously injured.
The collision happens at about 20.45, according to the SAMU 061 emergency medical service. The girl has severe multiple injuries. What led to the motorcycle striking her remains unknown.
Medics first take her to Formentera Hospital. A helicopter then flies her to Can Misses Hospital in Eivissa.
