Palma, Mallorca, gains 116 new council staff this week: 90 take up administrative assistant posts, while 26 join specialist teams. All have passed selection processes and formally started work, the city council says.
The specialist posts span technical engineering, economics, nursing, technical architecture, sociocultural activities, psychology and legal advice. They also include archive assistant and architect roles.
The new staff received certificates at ceremonies chaired by Mayor Jaime Martínez. He said they would strengthen the council’s workforce, help it respond to the public and improve its services.
