33 nicotine vapes found in Eivissa delivery sale
Police in Eivissa, Ibiza, found 33 boxed nicotine vape devices and a card terminal on Sunday night after checking a person waiting in the street. The person told officers they were waiting for a customer and sold vapes for home delivery. They could not produce a licence or paperwork for the business they said they represented.
Eivissa Local Police officers had been dealing with another call at a building in Campanitx street when they spotted the person outside as they left. Officers said the person’s nervous manner drew their attention.
The 33 nicotine vapes were in sealed boxes, police said. The card terminal was intended to take payment for sales.
Officers told the person about the legal restrictions and duties governing the sale and supply of such products. Eivissa Local Police have started administrative proceedings to establish what happened and identify any possible responsibility.
The force said the discovery came during its night-time prevention patrols, while officers were also handling another incident.
