Alcohol sales on Palma’s seafront

The shops are on Avenida Gabriel Roca. Both have previously breached municipal rules. At one shop, officers see alcohol sold to two customers, including the minor.

Police file four administrative complaints. They also record a separate out-of-hours sale of alcohol to an adult customer.

Noise complaints in Son Castelló

Officers also inspect an entertainment venue on Carrer del Gremi de Boters in Son Castelló after neighbours complain about noise. A sound-level reading in the street records 85 A-weighted decibels from the venue’s music system. Police seal one of its music players because of the noise and its effect on neighbours’ rest.

They file five more complaints: for setting up a terrace after midnight, putting speakers outside, playing music between 00.00 and 08.00, causing noise and failing to show documents for the business.
