Palma burglary: Police hold two over €10,000 haul

Tools and electrical appliances worth more than €10,000 were taken from an architecture firm’s yard in El Molinar, Palma. National Police arrested two men after the company reported the break-in on 2 August and officers opened an investigation in early August. The first suspect was held on 10 August; police identified the second last Friday while he was already in Palma prison.
A company representative told police that someone had damaged the entrance door before taking a large number of items from inside the site.
After confirming the second man’s identity, officers went to Palma prison and brought him out for further inquiries. He was then taken before a judge and sent back to the prison, police said.
