Mallorca: Man arrested over fifth breach of Palma ban

Fifth reported breach of a Palma ban: police arrest a man in the centre of Palma, Mallorca, despite a court order forbidding him from entering the city. Spain’s National Police reported the arrest on 29 September and said it was the fifth time he had broken the order.
The man was first arrested in February during an investigation into a series of shop thefts. Police suspect he acted with others as part of a criminal group. The case involved losses of more than 18,000 euros at 25 shops. After the arrests, a court barred those detained from entering Palma.
