Palma police arrest man after alleged exposure near children

A Spanish man has been arrested in Palma after allegedly lowering his trousers and touching his genitals near several children outside a café. The incident happened on Saturday morning, according to the Balearic Islands police headquarters. National Police officers arrested him on suspicion of exhibitionism.

A passer-by alerted a nearby citizen-assistance patrol after saying he had seen the man in the street with his trousers down in front of the café. Another witness told officers he was inside with his under-age daughter when he saw the man touching his genitals.

Two café workers also said they had seen what happened. They told police the man was a regular customer and had behaved similarly before, most recently on Friday.

The man denied carrying out any sexual act. Officers said they found his genitals visible above his trousers, partly covered by a T-shirt.
