Mallorca: Palma sports centre opens, but users can't park
Mallorca’s new s’Aigua Dolça sports centre opens in Palma on Thursday, but people using its facilities cannot park on site. The car park will be ready for the opening, yet only staff can use it for now, Palma City Council said on Wednesday.
The car park is also reserved for residents of Palma’s El Terreno neighbourhood, but their passes are not yet available. The municipal parking company, Sociedad Municipal de Aparcamiento y Proyectos (SMAP), will begin registration and arrange the passes “soon”.
The centre will open Monday to Friday, from 16.30 to 21.30. It has a 25-metre pool with six lanes, activity rooms and changing rooms.
