Palma burglary suspect held over €75,000 watch
A €75,000 watch, three mobile phones and three high-end laptops have been stolen from a home in Palma. Spanish National Police arrested a Spanish man on Monday on suspicion of burglary. Police said the break-in happened two days earlier.
Investigators say the suspect forced open a window to get inside and take the items. Detectives from the National Police robbery unit carried out enquiries before identifying and locating him.
Police also suspect the man of forcing his way into another home in the Playa area on Saturday, where he allegedly took a suitcase containing documents and electronic devices. They say he had previously been arrested over up to three further burglaries in the same building. He has been accused of two home burglaries.
