Mallorca election rally: Pedro Sánchez heads to Palma
Mallorca gets another stop on the election trail on Saturday 14 November: Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez is due to hold a rally at Son Fusteret in Palma ahead of the 29 November general election. It starts at 11.30am, Francina Armengol, secretary-general of the Balearic Socialists (PSIB-PSOE), announced on X.
Armengol has called for Son Fusteret to be filled for his appearance. In a campaign video, she challenges the claim that the election is already decided and argues for more public services, pensions and housing.
Sánchez could be the third candidate for prime minister to visit the Balearic Islands during the campaign, depending on other candidates’ plans. Vox leader Santiago Abascal visited Maó, Palma and Eivissa in late October. Ada Colau of Frente Amplio is due at an event in central Palma on 8 November.
