Piñero’s AI assistants handle more than 500,000 queries a year, with accuracy above 94%. The Balearic tourism group says the system has cut the number of tasks passed to back-office teams by almost 30%. It set out the results of its technology strategy in Madrid on 24 September 2026.

The company uses conversational AI assistants — tools that answer requests in a chat-like exchange — across its Hospitality, Travel and Real Estate & Golf divisions. Piñero says the automation could free up tens of thousands of working hours each year.

AI tools take on routine work

Piñero has introduced more than 300 Microsoft 365 Copilot licences and has 1,145 active users of its Chat version. More than 100 productivity agents support work including project management and contract reviews.

The group says 95% of employees taking part in its training programmes use the tools several times a week. Its own analysis puts the potential productivity gain at up to 15%.

Hotel demand forecast 100 days ahead

In its hotel division, Piñero uses advanced analysis to forecast demand up to 100 days ahead. The same systems calculate water and energy use at its properties, with an error margin of between 2% and 5%.

That is intended to spot excess consumption early and help control costs. In travel, machine learning is used to manage airline seat capacity and assess commercial risk, while managers can ask for key figures in everyday language.

Piñero’s Technology department oversees the system through a security and governance model. A network of 40 internal business champions adapts the tools for individual departments.
