Roselló, who is also the Ibiza socialists’ secretary-general, said the four candidates were taking on the task with great responsibility and aiming to govern after the 2027 vote. He said they offered an alternative to the current situation and answered calls for political change.

The party’s priorities include the island’s land-use and tourism model, public services and access to housing. Roselló said the goal was for people on Ibiza, including those who have made the island their home, to be able to work and live there.

The FSE will now move to the next stage of its primaries, which will choose candidates for the mayoralties of Sant Antoni and Sant Joan.
