In the Balearic Islands, Podemos and Ara Més are discussing a joint list for the general election as Friday’s deadline to register coalitions nears. The talks remain open on 15 October 2026. For Mallorca, that means it is not yet clear whether the two parties will stand together.

Podemos is also talking to Compromís in the Valencian Community and Chunta in Aragón about joint lists. Separately, party leader Ione Belarra has offered an election alliance to United Left in ten autonomous communities. The Balearic Islands are not part of that offer.

Belarra has left open the possibility of separate left-wing candidacies in Madrid and Barcelona. In Catalonia, Podemos has a cooperation agreement with ERC; in Madrid, Belarra points to clear differences with Frente Amplio. Whether the Balearic talks produce a joint list remains unresolved as the registration deadline approaches.
